Marketing Consultant, Co-Founder of Mixtus Media
Jenn Hanson-dePaula has worked with authors, musicians, and other creatives for almost two decades, helping them find and connect with their ideal audience online. She started out in the music industry in Nashville, TN working as a publicist for Essential Records in 2000, followed by EMI CMG from 2001 to 2005.
After striking out on her own to offer freelance publicity services to independent musicians and authors, the music and book publishing landscapes soon changed as social media outlets became more and more prominent. As a result, Jenn quickly adapted her publicity expertise to social media and content marketing in 2010 under the name Mixtus Media. In 2018 she launched the Mixtus Method book marketing course with the help of her husband and business partner, Marcus dePaula.
Jenn is a 2000 graduate of Greenville University with a degree in Communication: Public Relations, and in 2012 was named "Outstanding Young Alumna" for her work in marketing and entrepreneurial ventures.
